What it does

Customs Audit checks declaration history for classification, origin, preference, valuation, duty, documentation and data-quality issues. Each finding records the MRNs, commodity, origin, reason, evidence and indicative £ impact. Findings can be grouped into cases, and a validated case becomes a recovery tracked from identified through review, evidence, claim and HMRC query to recovered.
